|New Massachusetts Headlight Law Effective April 7th 2015|

This new law is aimed toward making driving safer during bad weather in daylight hours. The law states that anytime your windshield wipers need to be used you must have your headlights and tailights on. You also need to have your headlights on when there is fog or low visibility, if it prevents the driver from seeing other vehicles or pedestrians at a distance of 500 feet. violators can be hit with a $5 fine and a surcharge.
